Come to Albeins and experience the essence of the South Tirolean Eisack Valley in a nutshell! Vineyards, apple orchards, the Dolomites ... the historic and culturally rich towns of Brixen and Klausen ...

Located at an altitude of 586 meters, Albeins is home to 720 residents. It may be small, but it's charming and full of character. Parts of the village center are under ensemble protection, dating back to the Middle Ages and the early modern period. Albeins boasts two medieval churches, one of which features beautiful late Gothic elements. In springtime the apple orchards which surround the village transform it into a sea of white blossoms – and sometimes, due to frost irrigation, into a sparkling sea consisting of trees and adorned with ice flowers. You have to experience the fragrance yourself. Then you'll understand why the apple tree belongs to the botanical family of roses.

Nature experiences in all seasons

What culture can do, nature can do too – especially in South Tirol. The Moarhof farm ist close by the Dolomites and the highlights of this light gray rocks: the Aferer Geisler and the Würzjoch with the Peitlerkofel, the Villnösstal valley with the Villnösser Geisler, the Seiser Alm with the Schlern mount, symbol of South Tirol … Alpine hikes are also a very popular activity in autumn and winter. The warm season is especially perfect for hikers, mountaineers and cyclists. Last but not least of course for adventurers who want to know the country from above with a paraglider or climbers who appreciate and love the Dolomite rocks for their countless routes in all levels of difficulty.
