SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN AND WINTER - A FARM HOLIDAY IN SOUTH TYROL AT THE MOARHOF NEAR BRIXEN.

South Tyrol is well worth a visit in all 4 seasons!

In spring the apple blossom tempts visitors for hikes and walks directly from the farm. In the leisurely summer holidays you can live at close quarters with nature and not far from the South Tyrolean Dolomites.

OUR TIP: The WoodyWalk family adventure trail in the Plose hiking area is great for families! Lovely hiking trails and cycle paths for all the family lead to nearby Brixen, along the Eisack Valley or into the Puster Valley. For experienced riders, the biking regions of Plose and Gitschberg offer plenty of treats for bikers; lots of mountain bike routes lead over the South Tyrolean alpine pastures and passes (some ascents by cable car FREE with the Brixen-Card) - or downhill over e.g. 2,000 metres of altitude difference from the Plose to Brixen (CAIDOM).

Törggelen in South Tyrol - the fifth season of the year

IIn autumn the apples and grapes ripen and the time of autumn hikes begins, along with the fifth season of the year - TÖRGGELEN TIME! This is a South Tyrolean custom practised in the Eisack Valley, when the "young wine" is tasted together with South Tyrolean delicacies and treats, on the local farms and in wine taverns.

Winter sports and winter holidays in South Tyrol - the Plose skiing resort, gateway to the Dolomites!

Be it for skiing or snowboarding (Fun Park of the Snow Island Team) on the Plose, our local mountain or in the nearby ski resort of Meransen-Gitschberg. The South Tyrolean winter sports resorts of Kronplatz, Val Gardena, Ratschings and Merano 2000 are only a short car or bus journey away. For cross-country skiers, winter hikers and snowshoe walkers, there are plenty of trails and fabulous routes on the mountain ridge or from the front door of the Moarhof. For tobogganers on the Plose there is the longest toboggan run in the southern Alps - the RudiRun 1 + 2 toboggan tracks!

Advent atmosphere and pre-Christmas fun - Christmas Markets Route - 5 Stars in South Tyrol

From the end of November South Tyrol's Christmas markets open in Brixen, Bolzano, Sterzing, Bruneck and Merano and, with mulled wine, South Tyrolean handicrafts and traditional music, provide plenty of pre-Christmas atmosphere.

Die nahen südtiroler Städte Brixen, Bozen oder Bruneck laden das ganze Jahr über mit mondänen Geschäften, gepflegten Restaurants und gemütlichen Cafes zum Shopping und Verweilen ein.
